Customized Training

Our instructors are certified Master Black Belts who have real-world experience. We have worked in various industries from manufacturing to service to healthcare and have used the tools and techniques in actual projects. We know what you are going through and can provide guidance and encouragement as well as alternative ideas.

Our customers come from a variety of industries including manufacturing, food processing, electronics, government, healthcare and banking. Our class sizes range from six to thirty. The topics range from individual improvement modules to all Lean to a mix of Lean and Six Sigma. In each case, we try to learn about your processes and to incorporate them into the training as much as possible. The training is supported by labs that emphasize the topics being taught.  We have done single sessions to multi-year contracts.

Michael Ungar, CI Metier Manager of Michelin Corporation described their experience with SIx Sigma Programs: “Michelin North America looked at several Lean Six Sigma programs before choosing North Carolina State to provide our Green Belt training and certifications.  We worked closely with Jeff Blessinger to adapt the NC State material to fit Michelin’s needs.  The training material integrated several hands-on activities to keep participants engaged throughout.  Jeff has successfully trained and certified hundreds of Michelin employees over several years helping to drive millions of dollars of improvements to the bottom line of the company.  I highly recommend North Carolina State to anyone interested in deploying Lean Six Sigma within their company or who individually would like to develop their continuous improvement skills.”

Location

We can accommodate you at your facility, at our university or at a neutral location site. We provide the educational materials and the lab equipment.  We can even book the venue if you prefer. All we ask you to provide are the students and the refreshments for the students.

If you have a location outside of the United States, we can accommodate your training needs there as well. The material is in English, so students need to have an understanding of the language. If you need the slides translated to a different language, that can be coordinated by working through the university.
