Yes. A prerequisite to participate in the Black Belt course is a Green Belt certification, as the course builds on your requisite knowledge and skills.

To earn a certificate of attendance for any of our programs, you must attend training and pass an assessment at the end of the training. In addition, for our Lean Six Sigma Belt certifications, you will need to complete a project that satisfies the requirements for that level of training.

There is no time requirement.  We encourage you to work on a project during training and complete it as soon as possible for your benefit. It is to your advantage to complete the project as quickly as possible to earn your certification.

Our Lean Six Sigma courses cover the appropriate ASQ Body of Knowledge for each course. Students will be well prepared if they are interested in obtaining and additional ASQ LSS Certification.

While many training providers offer accredited claims, there is no central governing body for our improvement and innovation programs. You are better served to review the programs’ requirements and how they support their students versus an accreditation claim.

We do not have financial aid or sponsorships. We do not have the funding for these.  However, we offer discounts for students, employees of the university, and multiple students from the same company.

We want to work with you as much as we can, so if you have questions/concerns, please reach out to us.

We can provide them if requested.  Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for the process.

You do not.  Once you have taken the training and met the requirements, you are certified.  We do not believe in recurring membership charges like some other programs.

Our instructors are there for you before, during, and after your certification journey.

For a private class, we ask for a minimum of 6 students. The maximum for one instructor we prefer is 50 students for White or Yellow Belt and 30 students for other belt levels. We do not require any specific software for the course.

The syllabi for each course are provided on our website.

You will need software for the Lean Six Sigma courses. Yes. The options are JMP, Minitab, and JASP.  These are listed in the order of ease of use and functionality. While we offer JASP, an open-source product, it does not have the functionality of JMP or Minitab. Master Black Belt students are required to have JMP.

When our public courses return to campus, we do provide a light breakfast, lunch and snacks.

There are several hotels located near campus that provide discount rates.  We can provide you with assistance in which hotels work with the university.
